Gearbox Software just released a new trailer and information about the upcoming Borderlands 3 DLC, and the video promises lots of Lovecraftian monsters as well as a story of love, guns, and, of course, tentacles. Borderlands 3 has remained a popular title with fans of the series thanks to a number of in-game events for holidays like Valentines Day and Halloween, which usually also sees players being rewarded with exclusive in-game items like skins or new weapons and gameplay modes....

A new report today from Storeteller offers photos of what is claimed to be Apple’s second retail location in the Chinese region of Macau. According to the report, the store is expected to be completed by the end of June. Apple’s first store in the region, located at the Galaxy Macau Resort, opened in June 2016. Today’s photos show a structure that would dwarf the resort’s indoor location and depict a large store, likely glass in construction, with an adjacent plaza....

NBC casts Michael Imperioli in Lincoln. The drama pilot is based on Jeffery Deaver’s Lincoln Rhyme book series, of which started with the 1997 novel The Bone Collector. From 1999 to 2007, Imperioli portrayed mobster Christopher Moltisanti on HBO’s The Sopranos. To date, 14 books in “The Bone Collector” series have been released, with the latest being The Cutting Edge (2018). The first book introduces a quadriplegic forensic criminalist named Lincoln Rhyme, who teams up with NYPD Patrol Officer Amelia Sachs to catch not only a serial killer, but also a copycat killer....

Despite being ignored at D23, Fox’s New Mutants is reportedly still moving forward and currently undergoing test screenings. Last week’s D23 Expo in Anaheim was full of big movie reveals, from the first Jungle Cruise footage being unveiled to Disney pulling the curtain back on its next animated feature, Raya and the Last Dragon. However, the event skipped over highlighting the upcoming Fox releases, like Ford v. Ferrari and James Cameron’s first Avatar sequel....

NBA player Stephen Curry doesn’t seem to mind which smartphone manufacturer wants to hire him to appear in ads. The Golden State Warriors player who appeared in an iPhone 6s video ad back in 2015 is now appearing in one for Android manufacturer Vivo. Both ads, interestingly, are about the camera capabilities of the respective phones. But while Curry may be happy to take ad money from the Chinese manufacturer, it seems he hasn’t actually switched allegiance when it comes to his own phone....

Fox’s The New Mutants was supposed to drastically impact future X-Men movies going forward. 20th Century Fox’s run with the X-Men characters may soon be over, but there is still one more film in their series to be released: The New Mutants. Fox’s last X-Men outing is a horror-themed spin-off that will focus on a brand new set of characters rather than be another mainline X-Men film. Many superheroes have been apart of the New Mutants team over the years, but Magik, Wolfsbane, Sunspot, Cannonball, Mirage will be the main heroes in the upcoming film....

Despite being hit by the massive Hurricane that rocked the Northeast ealier this week, New York-based Apple reseller Tekserve is still chugging along in its W. 23rd St. store in downtown Manhattan. The store is without power, but since it didn’t suffer from any flood damage it opened up this morning for the first time this week. Netflix’s All the Bright Places cast brings another young adult story to life, with two young and proven actors at the helm. The romantic drama is directed by Brett Haley (Hearts Beat Loud) and based on Jennifer Niven’s 2015 novel of the same name. Elle Fanning and Justice Smith co-lead the tale about grief and young love. All the Bright Places follows two teens dealing with the scars of their past and shows how it affects their everyday lives....

Season 1 of Netflix’s supernatural drama October Faction ends with the Allen family’s darkest secrets exposed and one of the Allens dead - at least, for now. Based on the IDW Publishing comics by Steve Niles and Damien Worm, October Faction is set in the small upstate New York town of Barington-on-Hudson. Fred (J.C. MacKenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor) move back to the town with their teenage twins Viv (Aurora Burghart) and Geoff (Gabriel Darku) - who have no idea that their parents are actually monster hunters....

The sci-fi/horror creature feature does a lot with a little bit, relying more on setting and exquisite acting from its small cast of characters to create a setting of dread and hopelessness....

Students learning to create apps with Apple’s Swift programming language now have a way to validate their skills with a new certification program. App Development with Swift is a new academic certification course created by Certiport in partnership with Apple that measures students’ ability to program with Swift after completing a year-long program. According to an industry report from IHS Market, published by Forbes, Apple is set to launch a new 16-inch MacBook Pro later this year. The report claims a 3072×1920 resolution, up from the 2880×1800 panel found in Apple’s 15-inch laptops since the first Retina MacBook Pro in 2012. As the 15-inch MacBook Pro was refreshed already this year, with newer processors and a revised keyboard design, people are expecting the 16-inch to forge a new, separate, tier in Apple’s product lineup....
