The Real Housewives of Atlanta: NeNe Leakes’ friendship with Kenya Moore’s husband causes a blowout fight. It would seem that Marc Daly kept his wife’s enemies closer but forging a friendship with Greg and NeNe behind Kenya’s back.
The “gone with the wind fabulous” Moore who was a former Miss USA joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta on season five. The beauty queen’s in-your-face attitude often clashing with the other ladies. She connected well with the model, Cynthia Bailey, but their friendship caused an issue with the head of the show NeNe Leakes who did not want to share her friendship with Bailey. Moore left the show after season 10 ended in 2018. She met and eloped with Marc Daly in 2017 on a St. Lucia beach and had the couple’s first child in November of 2018. Moore was a high-risk pregnancy due to her age but she documented her struggles so she could hopefully help other older mothers.
Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will start on November 3rd and already there had been a falling out before fans even got to see the ladies hug. Moore and archrival NeNe Leakes are said to get into a heated battle when Moore took it upon herself to confront Leakes about her being friends with her husband, Daly. On a cast trip to exotic Greece Moore was shocked that her ex-husband had been speaking with Leakes while they were still married, behind her back. A source told Hollywood Life that the two women were not in a good place so the news came as a betrayal. The insider said, “Kenya was stunned on the cast trip in Greece when she found out that her now ex-husband Marc was conspiring against her by speaking to NeNe and Gregg Leakes behind her back during their marriage.”
Evidently, the fight turned nasty very quick as Leakes twisted the story to make Moore feel even more blindsided. The insider revealed, “NeNe made Kenya feel blindsided with the news that she had been talking to Marc throughout their marriage. NeNe also told Kenya that Marc told her and Greg that he didn’t even like his wife among other things.” The reality star then told Moore that Daly had claimed to not even like her most of the time. Moore was said to be very upset that Daly would tell Leakes private information about their marriage even if they were going through some rough patches. The source explained, “Even though she’s had her issues with NeNe, she never thought she’d do something like this. - Same with Marc … They were having issues in their marriage, but she felt so shocked to learn this. Kenya was so hurt that he would conspire behind her back with her known arch-enemy and deliberately give her private info about them as a couple and about Kenya. Kenya has definitely had it with Marc and with NeNe.”
While it seems safe to say that the two women will not become close friends any time soon it saddened fans to know that Daly would stoop so low as to hurt his ex-wife and mother of his child in such a malicious way. Viewers of the Bravo show can only hope that the other girls came to Moore’s aid and tried to comfort her the best that they can.
