The popular new song, ‘Toss A Coin to Your Witcher’, from Netflix’s The Witcher is now a downloadable track for the game Beat Saber. The Witcher is a fantasy TV series based off of the book and short story series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and it released on Netflix on December 20th. While the show is popular, the adaptation that most people are probably familiar with is the series of video games created by CD Projekt Red.

During the second episode of the series Geralt meets the bard Jaskier while traveling. The bard accompanies Geralt on a job and the two develop something resembling friendship. Jaskier begins to sing the catchy song ‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ over the closing moments of the episode. The tune quickly became popular in the world of The Witcher as well as the real world. Already the song has been featured in countless articles online and inspired memes across social media.

According to IGN, a Beat Saber player created a custom track based off of the bardic ballad. The player, Holair, uploaded the song online so that any player can download and play this custom song for themselves. The track even features the original vocals and instrumentals from the show. Holair actually uploaded a video of themselves playing through the track on the game’s highest difficulty to show off this creation to others:

Beat Saber is a VR rhythm game that was developed and published by the studio Beat Games. The game has received mostly positive reviews and even became the highest rated Steam game during its first week. It is still considered by many publications and fans to be one of the best VR games published.

‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ has become notoriously popular in just the few short weeks since it aired on Netflix. It’s infectiously catchy lyrics have quickly wormed their way into the heads of anyone who happens to hear it. This new custom track is just one of a great many things that are sure to be inspired by this tune over the next several months. If this song is going to be stuck in the public’s heads then they might as well get into The Witcher spirit and swing a sword in Beat Saber while they listen.
