Apple has finally launched the successor of AirPods, which are currently the world’s most popular wireless earphones. Some people are also calling them as Airpods 2.
According to Apple, the new AirPods offer 50 per cent more talk time than its predecessor. They’re powered by a new H1 chipset and even support hands-free “Hey Siri”. Optional wireless charging is also available.
The new H1 chip supports Bluetooth 5 and is specially designed by Apple for earphones. It helps the new Airpods in achieving better performance, faster connect time and more talk time. It even makes handsfree control possible in them by just saying ” Hey Siri”.
The new earphones also make switching between two connected devices much faster than before, with almost twice the speed. The new charging cases extend the battery life of the earphones for up to almost 24 hours.
Apple AirPods with a standard charging case will be available on apple.com and Apple Store app for $159.
Apple AirPods with wireless charging case will be available on apple.com and Apple Store app for $199.
If you just want to just buy the Wireless charger, it will also be made available to purchase on apple.com and Apple Store app for $79.
All these things will also be available in Apple stores by next week. Though keep in mind that the pricing and availability details available right now are for the US markets only. If bought online, you can also add a personal engraving on those AirPods and the charging case
