UPDATE: Read our breakdown of the new Avengers: Endgame trailer.

Marvel releases a new Avengers: Endgame trailer as tickets for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster officially go on sale. Marvel Studios is gearing up for their biggest film yet with the debut of Avengers: Endgame. The 22nd film in the MCU, Avengers: Endgame marks the end of the Infinity Saga, what Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige termed the first arc of the superhero franchise. Endgame is expected to wrap up the narrative of the MCU thus far, and bring the stories of many original Avengers to an end - whether that means they die or move on in some other way, though, remains to be seen.

Further, Avengers: Endgame picks up after the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw Thanos wipe out half of all life in the universe with the snap of his fingers using the Infinity Gauntlet. Now, the original six Avengers must team with their remaining allies - including Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the newly introduced Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) - in order to avenge those they could not save. Marvel is building up to a spectacular finish and, as such, the Avengers: Endgame trailers have been thin on actual reveals. They’ve even been accused of outright lying to fans through misleading shots or edited scenes, though viewers still try to learn what they can from the footage. Now, Marvel has released a new teaser for fans to puzzle over.

Along with the launch of Avengers: Endgame tickets, Marvel released a new trailer for the upcoming MCU movie. In addition to Endgame tickets, Disney and Marvel announced the Marvel Studios’ 22-Movie Marathon, in which fans can watch all the MCU movies released so far and conclude with the new Avengers film. Further, Atom Tickets and BossLogic released a new Avengers: Endgame Poster, while IMAX and Dolby unveiled new one sheets as well. Check out the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer and all three new posters below.

As with previous Avengers: Endgame teasers and TV spots, this latest video doesn’t reveal too much about the actual plot of the movie, though it does tease Earth’s Mightiest Heroes facing off against Thanos once again. More so than their mission, the trailer highlights the team uniting and vowing to avenge those that Thanos killed in Infinity War - and, in the case of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at least, protecting what he has left, namely Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).

But there’s also a moment between Tony and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) when the former asks the later if he trusts him, an obvious callback to their fight during Captain America: Civil War. It seems the two heroes will move past their previous differences, as they’re both seen suited up as Iron Man and Captain America, respectively, along with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), in the closest thing to a money shot we get in this teaser as the three heroes walk together in some mess of destruction.

Of course, what all these scenes really mean remains to be seen until Avengers: Endgame is released and reveals what’s actually next for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Now that tickets are on sale, fans can reserve their seats for opening weekend, and perhaps even attend the 22-movie marathon. Then, fans will find out how it all ends when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters later this month.
