After three seasons, Netflix is canceling the futuristic drama series, Travelers. The show follows series star and producer Eric McCormack as FBI agent Grant MacLaren, leader of a group intent on saving the world with time travel. Travelers is produced by Peacock Alley Entertainment in hand with Netflix and takes place centuries into the future where operatives use time travel to send their to the minds of those living in the 21st century....
The same source says that it will have front and back cameras, as well as a retina display, but another source told Rose that the display will have a higher dpi, but it technically won’t be a retina one. Now, considering the fact that the iPad’s display resolution is already great – 1024 x 768 at 9.7 inches, this thing should be pretty groovy retina or no retina. On the other hand, the cameras will be perfect for FaceTime, Google Voip/Video chat and Skype’s video chat which is already available on the iPhone....

Brad Bird’s Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol gave the fading Mission: Impossible franchise a new lease on life back in 2011, garnering near-universal praise and critical acclaim for its fun espionage elements (including, its awe-inspiring sequence where Cruise swings around the tallest skyscraper in the world). The iPhone X and iPhone 8 are Apple’s first smartphones to officially support fast charging with USB-C. A new study from Tom’s Guide, however, shows the iPhone X and iPhone 8 both lag behind competing flagship Android devices in terms of fast charging capabilities… The testing was done using included fast charging accessories with the OnePlus 5T, LG V30, Google Pixel 2, and Galaxy Note 8. For the iPhone X and iPhone, Tom’s Guide used Apple’s 29-watt wall adapter and a USB-C to Lightning cable....
Since its release three years ago, CarPlay has been gradually expanding with more car manufacturers signing on to support the feature every year. Now, a new report from Strategy Analytics offers a bit more information on consumer interest in CarPlay… The survey found that, in the United States, 23 percent of smartphone users view CarPlay as a “must have” for their next car purchase. 56 percent of respondents said that they are “interested” in the technology for their next car, while 21 percent said they aren’t interested....

A new batch of photos published by French site NowhereElse may give us an idea of what the next generation of the iPad mini will look like. The images are said to be of the casing for the unannounced tablet upgrade, and seem to feature some design elements inspired by the most recent version of the larger iPad model. While the third-generation iPad mini was simply a Touch ID-equipped version of the previous model, many Apple fans are hoping to see a redesign much like this with the next refresh....
New Rambo V: Last Blood images set up the title character’s new rescue mission. Despite Rambo’s skill as a soldier, he’s been shown throughout the series to be very reluctant to fight. In each of the sequels, he’s only taken up arms to rescue others. In Rambo: First Blood Part II it’s to rescue POWs held in Vietnam, in Rambo III it’s to save his friend Colonel Trautman and in 2008’s Rambo he’s tasked with saving a group of missionaries in Burma....
Earlier this week, a report from Bloomberg claimed that Apple is considering future iPhone models with “hover” gestures and curved screens. Now, designer Martin Hajek (via iDrop News) has offered up his take on what such an iPhone could look like… The Bloomberg report explained that Apple has a pair of projects investigating both ‘air gestures’ and a curved design. The air gestures would seemingly allow users to simply hover over the screen to control it....

In order to be an NCIS agent, a character has to have a certain amount of skill and training. With the original series, a lot of that training happens on the job. In the first of its spinoffs, NCIS Los Angeles, much of the training had to happen beforehand because the series focuses on specialized cases involving undercover work. It would certainly make undercover work easier if the NCIS Los Angeles characters could brew a polyjuice potion and become anyone they needed....
Netflix unleashes the first trailer for Black Summer, the prequel series to SYFY’s recently canceled zombie series Z Nation. The original series aired on the genre-focused cable network for five seasons, until it ended (unceremoniously) in 2018. This new series looks to follow the route laid out by AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff (which is also a prequel) Fear the Walking Dead, by showing the early days of the apocalypse from the perspective of an entirely new group of characters coming to grips with the unthinkable happening....
Netflix is no stranger to half-hour comedies that work despite the inherent darkness of their conceit, and the streaming giant’s newest series, Dead To Me, offers up yet another example of how well that particular formula seems to work. Though not as exuberantly weird as the recently canceled Santa Clarita Diet, this new series, from creator Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls, The Great Indoors), offers up a engaging story about a friendship between two women that develops in the wake of the death of one woman’s husband....

Henry Cavill stars in the fantasy TV show as Geralt of Rivia, the loner monster hunter who struggles to get by in a world “where people often prove more wicked than beasts”. A new Inhumans series is set to finally reveal the true origin in a mini-series titled Inhumans: Once And Future Kings. Fans of Marvel’s Inhumans may still be waiting to see a live-action adaptation of the team, but there’s always the comics to enjoy. On screen, the property that was originally conceived as a movie has been bumped to an Inhumans TV series, set to launch this September on ABC. The mini-series replaces the film that was originally scheduled for 2020, so it certainly brings these characters into the MCU a lot faster, but many were concerned that the move was a downgrade....
