Netflix is surprising their audience with a brand new feature film from horror powerhouse Blumhouse Productions titled Mercy Black. The film is available on the streaming platform starting today. The movie is helmed by writer-director Owen Egerton, known for his film Blood Fest, and tells the story of a woman named Marina Hess (Daniella Pineda) who lures a classmate into the woods with the intent of sacrificing her in order to summon a mythical being known as Mercy Black....

Apple posted a new knowledge base article today containing more information about the new Fusion Drive option available in yesterday’s iMac and Mac mini updates. The post includes some of the limitations of the Fusion Drive, such as the inability to add more than one additional partition to the hard disk portion, and the fact that Boot Camp Assistant does not support 3 TB configurations. Other issues include some potential problems using Time Machine to restore to a Fusion Drive....

Netflix’s Dracula insinuates that the devious Count Dracula (Claes Bang) turned Mozart into a vampire - a shocking turn of events regarding how the legendary composer died. Created by the masterminds behind Sherlock, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, Dracula aired on BBC One in the UK before streaming internationally on Netflix. Instagram Version 8 for iOS Before I decided to download the latest Instagram update, I took one last look at the app in its previous iteration and said goodbye. The update, as always, is small at about 24 MBs. The immediate change is the new logo which has kicked off a storm of polarizing comments on social media. In Netflix’s new comedy Living With Yourself, Paul Rudd plays Miles Elliott, a depressed marketing executive who decides to undergo a treatment at a mysterious spa that promises to make him a “better you.” He emerges from a dirt grave, confused and scared until he makes his way back home only to discover a clone of himself living there. The series, which just debuted its inaugural eight-episode season, has been receiving pretty good reviews, with many especially praising Rudd’s dual performance as both the real, sagging-shoulder, glasses-wearing, disheveled hair Miles and his perky, perfectly put together clone....

With its new drama What/If, Netflix aims to resurrect the psychosexual dramas from the ‘80s,’90s, and early 2000s, particularly those written by Joe Eszterhas and directed by Adrian Lyne, Paul Verhoeven, and in one case, William Friedkin. The series is very much in the vein of films like 9 1/2 Weeks, Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, Jade and, most obviously, Indecent Proposal. According to costar Alice Braga, there weren’t any major on-set rewrites or reshoots during production on The New Mutants. There are few movies coming out this year that are as big a question mark as Josh Boone’s long-delayed adaptation of The New Mutants comic books. The final X-Men film completed before Disney purchased Fox, New Mutants was shot in mid-2017 and originally scheduled to open the following spring. However, shortly after The New Mutants trailer was released, Fox delayed the film, supposedly to carry out reshoots that would bring it closer to director Josh Boone’s original horror movie pitch....

Netflix has announced the voice cast for Kevin Smith’s animated Masters of the Universe series, with Mark Hamill voicing the villainous Skeletor. The streaming service is already in the animated He-Man business thanks to its acclaimed She-Ra and the Princesses of Power show (which premiered its fourth season last fall). They’re now in the process of reviving the original He-Man TV series with Masters of the Universe: Relevation, a continuation of the ’80s fantasy-adventure cartoon Masters of the Universe....

With the iPhone 4S launch nearly two years ago, Apple introduced the Siri voice control system to its customers. At launch, Siri was a gimmicky feature at best, being released with bugs, a highly-computerized voice, sluggish content loading, and unreliable servers. In addition, Siri of 2011 was short on user compatibility, only launching with knowledge of English, French, and German.
