The world has been given its first glimpse of a new Pokémon, as CoroCoro has revealed the outline of the next Mythical monster that will appear in the upcoming pocket monster movie and in the expansions for Pokémon Sword & Shield. Game Freak announced that Pokémon Sword & Shield will have DLC, which will add two-hundred Pokémon to the game, including a mixture of returning Pokémon and brand-new ones. Amongst the creatures, the two expansions for Pokémon Sword & Shield (Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra) will be adding new Legendary Pokémon....

Ryan Murphy sets a September premiere date for The Politician. The comedy series marks the showrunner’s first original project with Netflix. The Politician will star Ben Platt, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Jessica Lange, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Over the past 20 years, Murphy has created, produced, and directed numerous acclaimed TV series. From 1999 to 2001, Murphy’s teenage dramedy Popular aired for two seasons on The WB, and has since been recognized as a cult TV classic....

Netflix has shown off a one-touch ‘move time’ button that switches on Netflix, dims the lights and puts your iPhone into Do Not Disturb mode. The button was introduced at the 2015 World Maker Faire, and the company has released the plans to enable you to build your own. It is also inviting idea for further one-touch buttons. It was done as a PR stunt, of course, but the button does have a serious side – showing the kind of intelligence we can look forward to when Apple’s HomeKit starts integrating control of our smart home products....

Last week, Apple filed a trademark request for an updated HomeKit logo under a Delaware Corporation known as iGuide LLC. The registering representative Stephen Brown has known ties to Apple, as first noted by Conosomac.fr. This particular house-themed logo differs substantially from the logo used on Apple’s HomeKit development pages and within the iOS 9 settings panels. A new synopsis for the Marvel show WandaVision plays up the series’ mystery plot. Court documents published on February 1 revealed that Vachon-Desjardins pleaded guilty to five charges related to “theft of computer data, extortion, the payment of cryptocurrency ransoms, and participating in the activities of a criminal organization.” In addition to the seven-year sentence, Vachon-Desjardins agreed to partial restitution, forfeiture of assets seized, and a DNA order. Silently announced alongside the new iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display, Apple has begun selling a Space Gray version of the first-generation, non-Retina display iPad mini at its physical retail stores. Sources say that the model is now available via several Apple Stores, but not every store. Interested customers should call their store to ensure availability… The updated model has been available via Apple’s online store since Tuesday. The first-generation iPad mini is available in a 16GB capacity for $299, which is a discount from the product’s formerly $329 price point, and comes in both WiFi-only and WiFi+LTE variants....

The NBC Olympics Live Companion app will act as a second display for stats and other details so users have a full bevy of data to compliment their television-watching experience. Meanwhile, the NBC Olympics Live Extra app will pipe live-streaming video to on-the-go users. It can handle multiple camera angles, social features, and the ability to seamlessly switch between both Olympics apps....
