Netflix may have just accidentally revealed a new Jurassic World project, according to a new title that popped up temporarily as a related title when a fan searched for “Jurassic World.” It’s already been taken down, but not before the title, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, was screenshot and tweeted to the public. The as yet uncompleted Jurassic World trilogy has already spawned a decent amount of supplementary content in the form of video games and two separate LEGO series, LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape and LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nubar....

The streaming war between Netflix and Disney+ has officially begun with the releases of Let It Snow and Noelle. The latter was included on Disney+’s launch list of titles on November 12, while Netflix tried to get a head start on their new competition by dropping Let It Snow on November 8. Both titles are considered Christmas movies, meaning that it’s the first direct head-to-head competition between streaming services on the level of singular titles....

Avengers: Endgame introduced New Asgard - a deliberate callback to the original Thor and Captain America movies. Avengers: Endgame is the climatic end of Marvel’s Infinity Saga, and it’s designed to be a celebration of the last 11 years’ worth of Marvel movies. As such, it’s absolutely jam-packed with Easter eggs, callbacks, and references. The film opens just weeks after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with Earth’s remaining heroes horrified to discover that Thanos has destroyed the Infinity Stones....

While a superficial comparison of Apple’s US and UK pricing has led many in the past to accuse the company of price-gouging, this isn’t actually the case. As we illustrated with the recent UK increase in app prices, the net price is actually almost identical in both countries. The same is true of most of Apple’s hardware. But the new 9.7-inch iPad is actually priced higher in pounds than it is in dollars: $329 in the US against £339 in the UK....

Apple is now selling a new generation of the 5K LG UltraFine display. For the first time, the 5K UltraFine is now compatible with the iPad Pro, finally offering a 5K display option for 2018 iPad Pro users. Update: Apple’s support page says that the UltraFine display can only work with the iPad Pro at 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz, so the quest to find a true 5K external display for the iPad is unfortunately not over....

MoviePass has had a rough start to 2018 with privacy concerns, plan changes, and more running rampant. While there have long been concerns about the service’s profitability, a new SEC filing shows things may be even more dire than originally thought… Bloomberg today highlights a new SEC filing from MoviePass’ owner, Helios & Matheson, which shows that the firm has just $15.5 million in cash. Furthermore, the firm is blowing through about $21....

The streaming wars adds a new contender today as NBCUniversal enters the ring with Peacock, a video streaming service that wants to take on the likes of Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, and Apple TV+. Peacock is available today in the iOS and tvOS App Store. Peacock includes titles like Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Parks and Recreation, Downton Abbey, and will be the home of The Office when it leaves Netflix at the end of 2020....

Alphabet’s Nest is developing remote sensors for its smart thermostat to allow temperature to be controlled on a room-by-room basis, reports Bloomberg. Competing smart thermostat products typically use units attached to radiators that detect the room temperature and adjust the flow to each room. The company is also said to be working on a lower-cost version of the company’s smart thermostat, with a target price of under $200 against its current price of $249....

The groundbreaking Netflix series takes place in four separate countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain. Criminal has been compared to the famous NBC franchise-starter Law & Order. Crimes are committed and police investigate suspects. However, the narratives don’t feature a tidy beginning, middle, and end. Apple’s refreshed Mac mini lineup already received some nice RAM upgrade options from OWC this morning, but now we get a look at the insides of the updated Macs courtesy of a tear down from Mac Mini Vault. The website also published Geekbench scores for the device, showing some impressive performance increases over the 2011 models. Apple’s latest retail flagship to receive a new store is its Michigan Avenue, Chicago location. Set for a grand opening on October 20, the company has a new webpage dedicated to the store. Continuing a trend seen used at its Dubai store, the soon-to-open Michigan Avenue location is already featuring local artists. Chicago’s newest Apple Store got some stage time from retail VP Angela Ahrendts at the company’s September event. You might also remember hearing about this location this past summer…yeah it’s the one that looks like a giant MacBook Air from the sky....

Apple’s second annual Earth Day Activity Challenge for Apple Watch is set to take place in just over a week and a half, and this year Apple has upgraded the sticker pack for Messages with animated designs. Apple has also slightly tweaked the requirement this year. Just like last year, this Activity Challenge for Apple Watch will go live on Earth Day which takes place on April 22. While some Activity Challenges are limited to certain countries like the US, the Earth Day challenge will be available globally....

Last night we heard the first concrete details about Apple’s all new Final Cut Pro coming during Spring this year, and tonight some new information has come to light. Final Cut Studio expert Larry Jordan was one of the people at Apple’s meeting, demonstrating the upcoming upgrade to the professional film-making software. Jordan can’t say much about the upgrade, due to an NDA with Apple, but he did say it is a “jaw-dropper....

This is a newly released game on September 08, 2020, and available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Though the game has received mixed reviews by the PC players on Steam and offers stunning graphics, some of the PC players have reported that the Necromunda: Underhive Wars game is Crashing at Startup or Won’t Launch or Lags with FPS drops....

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming sci-fi event series, The I-Land. Given the sheer number of shows and movies the streamer has green-lit recently, one would be forgiven for having missed the announcement about this one in September 2018. Co-created and run by Neil LaBute (who made his name with provocative fare like In the Company of Men and The Shape of Things), The I-Land went into production in the Dominican Republic last year, with a cast led by Kate Bosworth, Natalie Martinez, Alex Pettyfer, Kyle Schmid, and Gilles Geary....
